Then, another trough over the northern inland is forecast to deepen to a low pressure system and traverses the northeast quarter on Thursday, before entering the coastal waters of the Hunter or Mid North Coast on Friday and heading offshore during the weekend, with fresh to strong south to southwesterly winds in its wake.
