A ridge across southern WA is moving east, while an offshore trough is moving closer to the west coast. The trough will move inland this evening, ahead of a weak cold front brushing the south coast on Friday. A new ridge will develop along the southwest coast later Friday and expand east along the south coast on the weekend.
