A high pressure system moves east across southern WA today, followed by a trough approaching the west coast on Monday in association with a cloud band. The trough will move across the South West Land Division and Gascoyne on Tuesday, ahead of a cold front along the south coast. Another weak front will brush past the southwest coast, as a weak ridge briefly forms over inland southern WA on Wednesday before weakening on Thursday ahead of the next cold front.
