Offshore east of Port Hedland: winds up to 35 knots possible depending on movement and development of Tropical Low. Elsewhere west to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots tending southeast to southwesterly 15 to 25 knots in the evening then increasing to 20 to 30 knots in the late evening.

Partly cloudy. 90% chance of showers offshore east of Port Hedland, 50% chance elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm.

Weather Situation

A tropical low has moved offshore of the western Kimberley, now continuing westwards. Over the weekend, the tropical low will likely develop into a tropical cyclone as it moves west-southwest, most likely staying offshore parallel to the Pilbara coast until later Sunday into Monday when it may make landfall over the west Pilbara.
