Weather Situation

Tropical Low 08U is located well off the northwest Kimberley coast and is moving slowly south. It is forecast to develop into a Tropical Cyclone during Monday and turn southeast towards the western Kimberley coast. It may cross the coast as a cyclone or low late Tuesday or into Wednesday. Meanwhile, a broad complex of low pressure lies over the Interior and northern Gascoyne. A southeasterly surge will push the trough closer to the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts Tuesday.
