Southeasterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots about offshore western waters in the early afternoon. Winds becoming variable about 10 knots in the late afternoon then becoming south to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots in the late evening.

West to southwesterly below 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres offshore.

Weather Situation

A weak trough lies over the far north Kimberley with a ridge to the south bringing southeasterly winds to the Pilbara and western Kimberley waters. The ridge will weaken and broad trough will return on Monday as a cold front moves over southern WA. A new ridge develops to the south from Tuesday pushing the trough into the north Kimberley, with a renewed easterly surge returning to the remainder of the region.
