Weather Situation

A ridge that has persisted over the Kimberley for most of the week is weakening ahead of a trough moving east across Western Australia. The trough will make its way into the Kimberley on Saturday and remain there into the new week. A new ridge forming in the west will bring a southeasterly surge to coastal waters over the weekend.
