A ridge across central Australia is directing east to northeasterly winds across the north. Winds become westerly behind a cold front and trough passing through the State on Saturday. A new ridge building across the Gascoyne will bring a southerly to southeast wind change over the weekend, fresh and gusty over Pilbara and southwest Kimberley waters.
