A high pressure ridge over western WA is contracting east, as a cloud band extends across the western districts. A cold front will cross the South West Capes during today and travel across the South West Land Division overnight into Monday, stalling about Esperance coast on Tuesday before weakening by Wednesday. A new ridge will develop over southwest WA later Monday.
