A trough across the Pilbara and southwest Kimberley is moving inland and weakening. A ridge over the Gascoyne brings southerly winds to the west Pilbara waters, while a broad southwest to northwest flow continues over the remainder. The ridge will weaken early Saturday, with southwesterly winds freshening over Pilbara waters as a new trough arrives.
