Severe Tropical Cyclone Fina is moving southwest through the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf, approaching the northeast Kimberley coast. The very destructive core of severe tropical cyclone Fina is forecast to cross the coast most likely between King George River Mouth and Berkeley River Mouth late this afternoon or evening. A broad trough remains through the Pilbara and North Interior.
