A high pressure ridge over southeastern WA is moving east. A slow-moving cold front and trough will reach the west coast on Wednesday, continuing eastward on Thursday as a low pressure centre develops in the trough near the south coast. In the wake of the front and trough, a new ridge will strengthen across the west coast from Thursday.
