West to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots becoming variable about 10 knots in the middle of the day then becoming northwest to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots in the early afternoon. Winds reaching up to 30 knots west of Esperance in the evening.

Below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres west of Hopetoun by early evening.

Weather Situation

A trough over the Goldfields and Interior will slowly move east over the next couple of days. A series of cold fronts will move across the south coast, maintaining a showery westerly flow across southwest WA until Tuesday. A new ridge will extend over southern WA from later Tuesday, before sinking to the south coast on Thursday as a trough develops over inland South West Land Division and inland Gascoyne.
