A strong high pressure system in the Bight is moving east, with the ridge across southern WA weakening on Monday. A west coast trough will form on Monday as a weak cold front brushes past the southwest coast. A patchy cloud band will develop over central and southern WA on Tuesday, with the west coast trough moving inland on Wednesday ahead of a series of cold fronts in the second half of the week.
