Weather Situation
A west coast trough is deepening while a ridge persists south of the State. The trough moves inland today as a new ridge will begin to develop to the southwest from Tuesday. Tropical Cyclone Mitchell is expected to move south, close to the Gascoyne coast during today, before turning southeast and weakening to a Tropical low over the inland southern Gascoyne early Tuesday. It is expected to dissipate over the northern Goldfields on Wednesday.
