- A trough will deepen over southern WA today, ahead of an approaching cold front. Associated cloud band will bring widespread rainfall to the South West Land Division, Gascoyne and Goldfields. The trough and cold front will move east across southern districts on Friday, contracting the cloud band to central and eastern parts of the state. The cloud band will gradually weaken over the weekend but expected to linger until Monday A weak high pressure system will quickly move across southern WA later Friday into Saturday, followed by another cold front on Sunday.
