A high pressure ridge over southern WA is contracting east, as a cloud band extends across western and southern WA. A trough moving across the South West Land Division will stall over the Goldfields and Esperance regions on Tuesday, then dissipate on Wednesday. A new ridge will develop over southwest WA later today and contract east on Thursday ahead of the next cold front.
