A weak cold front is brushing past the southwest coast as a ridge over the southeast of the state weakens. A west coast trough is developing and will move inland on Wednesday and Thursday, ahead of another weak cold front about the southwest coast. A cloud band associated with the trough will bring rain to inland southern WA. A more substantial cold front will sweep through the South West Land Division on Friday and Saturday.
