A ridge is strengthening over the southwest and will build across southern WA this week. A west coast trough is developing, pushing south to southeasterly winds up the coast until it moves inland today. A cold front is expected to pass the south coast on Friday, bringing southerly winds in its wake, tending southeasterly as a ridge extends over the southwest during the weekend.
