A trough sits through the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla, moving to the Interior by Wednesday. A ridge develops along the south coast, pushing fresh southerly winds over the west coastal waters. The ridge weakens slightly on Thursday as a cold front passes well south of the State, strengthening thereafter.
