- A trough extending from the Gascoyne, across Goldfields to the Esperance region is moving westwards as an easterly flow develops due to a high pressure system establishing in the Bight. Associated cloud band will linger across inland southern WA through the weekend. Winds turning warmer northeasterly on Sunday as the westward moving trough nears the west coast. A cold front will move through the southwest of the state later Monday, pushing the west coast trough inland again. Another weak front will brush past the south coast middle of next week.
