A trough extends from the east Pilbara into the Interior with a ridge forming over the Gascoyne coast. Fresh to strong southerly winds forecast about northwestern Pilbara coastal waters between the trough and ridge. The trough extends back towards the west Pilbara in the middle of the new week with the ridge pushing south.
