A broad trough extends over southeastern parts of the State, moving east. A cold front and low-pressure system in the Southern Ocean will continue eastward today and Friday, bringing fresh to strong winds to the south coast. A ridge is developing over western parts which will strengthen from Friday, then slide slightly southward by Monday.
