- A high pressure system centred over the State will slowly drift into the Tasman Sea over the coming days, maintaining a ridge over Victoria. By Sunday the ridge will have weakened as slow moving cold front enters from the west, reaching into central parts on Monday and developing a low pressure system over western Bass Strait.
