Weather Situation
A persistent area of high pressure in the Bight extends a ridge over Victoria. This ridge will maintain a west to southwesterly flow over Bass Strait through to the end of the week. The high is forecast to move slowly over Tasmania Saturday and into the Tasman Sea on Sunday as the next cold front approaches western Bass Strait. The cold front is expected to cross Bass Strait on Monday.
