- A series of troughs across the state on Thursday will deepen with a broad low pressure system developing across the north on Friday. This low is expected to be relatively slow moving, drifting into eastern Bass Strait by the early hours of Sunday before clearing into the Tasman Sea by Monday as weak high pressure system drifts over the State from the west.
