A high pressure system extends a broad ridge over Victoria as it slowly moves east from the Bight, over Tasmania on Saturday and out to the Tasman Sea on Sunday. This ridge will begin clearing as a trough enters the far west late Monday, slowly moving over the state on Tuesday.
