Weather Situation

A high pressure system to the south of the state is directing easterlies along the coast. A low pressure trough over South Australia is forecast to approach western Victoria late Saturday, turning wind more southerly during the afternoon. The trough will slowly move over Victoria into Sunday, clearing to the east by Monday with a return to easterly flow as the high lies to the southeast of Tasmania. A secondary trough is forecast to move over the west later on Monday and more broadly over the state on Tuesday.
