Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system to the west is extending a ridge across Victoria. The high will cross Bass Strait on Friday, with winds tending warmer northerly on Saturday as the high moves over the Tasman Sea. A low pressure trough will move across western and central Victoria later on Sunday, with a weak cold front then forecast to approach southwestern Victoria on Monday.
