- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over southern NSW extends a ridge over eastern Bass Strait as a cold front and associated low pressure system approach from the west. Northerly winds will freshen on Monday ahead of the front which is expected to enter western Bass during the late afternoon. The front will then cross remaining coastal and local waters on Tuesday as the low crosses Tasmania. A high pressure system will move over South Australia later on Tuesday, extending a ridge over central Bass Strait on Wednesday as it crosses southern NSW. Winds will tend northwesterly on Thursday as the high moves over southeastern NSW.
