A low pressure trough moves over the west of Victoria this evening, reaching central and eastern parts by early Saturday morning. A ridge of high pressure is then expected to move over the state late Saturday, lingering during Sunday. A cold front is forecast to approach the southwest from late Sunday, crossing Victoria during Monday. Another high pressure system is expected to develop over the state on Tuesday.
