Weather Situation

Cold westerly flow extends across Victoria in the wake of a front and trough which have now cleared to the east. Another front and developing low pressure system will reach western Bass Strait in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the low then moving north over western Victoria and into western NSW later on Sunday. On Monday a ridge of high pressure will extend over Victoria as the low moves further north through NSW. The high pressure system will be centred over Bass Strait on Tuesday before moving slowly into the Tasman Sea.
