- Weather Situation
- A strong and gusty northerly airstream will continue tonight as the first in a series of cold fronts approaches from the west. The first front is forecast to enter western Bass Strait this afternoon before crossing the rest of Bass Strait on Tuesday night with a vigorous westerly airstream to follow. The next cold front will then cross Bass Strait on Wednesday morning, with winds tending southwesterly across Victoria and Bass Strait. Winds will ease on Thursday as the next high pressure approaches western Victoria, before the high moves over southern Victoria on Friday.
