- A ridge extends towards southern Victoria from a large high south of the Bight, directing a southerly airflow over the coastal waters. The ridge will move northwards over the State as the high slowly drifts towards southeast Australia, moving across southern NSW on Tuesday. A cold front is expected to cross Bass Strait late Wednesday and overnight into Thursday.
