Weather Situation

Strong north to northwesterly airflow over Victorian waters as a cold front approaches from the west. The front will cross the Bass Strait later today as an associated low approaches and then crosses Tasmania early on Tuesday. Behind the front a ridge of high pressure to the west will direct a persistent southwesterly flow over Bass Strait for several days thereafter.
