A high pressure system in the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over most of the state. A weak front will move across South Australia on Tuesday and early Wednesday then will move over Victoria during Wednesday. A high pressure system and associated ridge will approach from the west on Thursday, and be centred over the state on Saturday, as a series of cold fronts move across Tasmania.
