- A high pressure system is currently over the Tasman Sea, continuing to extend a weak ridge over much of Victoria. A low pressure system will begin to develop in the Bight, extending a warm front into Bass Strait on Tuesday which will drift southwards on Wednesday. The low pressure system will continue to develop, drawing a cold front across the State on Thursday.
