A high pressure system over South Australia extends a ridge across Victoria. The high will drift into the Tasman Sea on Monday as a cold front approaches from the west. The front is expected to cross Victoria on Tuesday with a cool southwesterly airstream following into Wednesday before a new high pressure ridge develops from the west on Thursday.
