- A weakening low pressure system and associated trough over eastern Victoria will move further southeast, as a ridge of high pressure quickly crosses the state and Bass Strait today. A cold front will approach from the west, forecast to cross Victorian coastal waters during Tuesday afternoon and evening, with another front to approach western Victoria late on Wednesday. This front will cross Victoria and Bass Strait on Thursday.
