- A cold front over the east will move into the Tasman Sea late Thursday evening with a trough linger through Bass Strait in its wake. A low pressure system will begin to develop off the east coast on Friday and slowly move eastwards over the Tasman Sea into Saturday. Meanwhile a high pressure system in the Bight on Friday will begin to push into the west and will centre itself over Victoria on Sunday before drifting eastwards in the new week.
