A weak cold front crosses Bass Strait Friday morning. South to southwesterly winds behind the front, turning east to southeasterly Saturday, as a high pressure system drifts eastwards towards Tasmania. The high moves into the Tasman Sea early Sunday, turning winds northeasterly. A cold front is expected to move into Bass Strait later Monday.
