A high pressure system south of the Bight extends a broad ridge east over coastal waters. The high is expected to slowly move east over Tasmania on Saturday and the Tasman Sea on Sunday while maintaining a ridge over waters. This ridge will begin clearing as a trough enters the West Coast late on Monday.
