- Weather Situation
- A high pressure ridge over the far east weakens as a slow moving trough approaches the western border. This trough will slowly cross over the state, reaching central parts late today and clearing eastwards into the Tasman by Monday afternoon. A new weak ridge develops in the west following the trough but is pushed over the north as a series of weak cold fronts cross to the south early next week. By the middle of the weak the high pressure ridge is expected to extend broadly across Victoria.
