Weather Situation
A low pressure system drifts eastward south of the Bight, extending a cold front over central Bass Strait. This front will continue to move slowly eastward, clearing the east of the Strait this evening. The low pressure system will then move over Bass Strait on Monday with a cool southwesterly airstream in its wake. A cold front moving south of the Bight is likely to reach western waters later Wednesday or Thursday.
