A high pressure system centred over the Bight extends a ridge over northern Victoria. The high will move slowly eastwards to be centred over southeastern NSW late Tuesday. A cold front will move across Victoria late Tuesday and early Wednesday then winds will turn northerly late in the week ahead of the passage of a cold front next Sunday.
