- A front is forecast to cross Victorian coastal waters during today before a high pressure system crosses NSW and extends a ridge over Bass Strait on Saturday. Northwesterly winds will freshen on Sunday ahead of a cold front that is forecast to enter the western Bass Strait during the afternoon before reaching eastern waters at night. Another cold front will approach from the west on Monday.
