- Weather Situation
- A weak high pressure ridge remains over the far eastern coastal waters whilst a low pressure system and associated cold front crosses central parts of Bass Strait. The cold front will move eastwards and through eastern coastal waters this evening before contracting out of the State by early Friday afternoon. The next high pressure system will develop south of the Bight in the wake of the front on Friday, directing a cool southerly airstream over Bass Strait during the weekend and into early next week.
