A ridge of high pressure over Victoria will contract to the northeast tonight. Northwesterly winds will strengthen on Sunday ahead of a cold front that is forecast to enter the far southwest late morning, reaching central parts in the afternoon, then eastern waters at night. A broad westerly flow with embedded weak fronts will then become established for the rest of the week.
