Weather Situation
A cold front continues eastward over Bass Strait this evening. A subsequent trough moves over coastal waters on Saturday morning. A low pressure system approaches western Bass Strait early on Sunday, then moves northwards over western Victoria during the day as a ridge extends over coastal waters from a high in the Bight. The high is forecast to drift east of Tasmania by the end of Tuesday.
