The front will then cross remaining coastal and local waters on Tuesday as the low crosses Tasmania. A high pressure system will move over South Australia later on Tuesday, extending a ridge over central Bass Strait on Wednesday. Winds will tend northwesterly on Thursday as the high moves over southeastern NSW.
