Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure will develop from the west in the wake of a cold front to the east of Victoria today before the high pressure centre moves over the state on Thursday. On Friday the high pressure centre will move into the Tasman Sea with a broad weak trough developing over central parts of Victoria. This trough will linger into Saturday morning before shifting northwards during the day.
