A high pressure system centred southeast of Tasmania extends a ridge over Victoria. This ridge will move eastwards overnight and during Thursday ahead of a cold front which is expected to reach western Victoria later Friday then move across the remainder of the state on Saturday morning. Another ridge will move over Victoria on Sunday ahead of a cold front early next week.
