Weather Situation

A cold front lies over central Victoria and will progress eastward this evening and into the early hours of Saturday morning. A series of further fronts and troughs cross Bass Strait over the next few days, first during the day on Saturday, then from early Sunday morning, with a final front crossing on Monday. A high pressure circulation in the Bight extends a ridge over Victoria on Tuesday and moves into western Bass Strait by the evening.
