- A strong cold front approaches from the state from the west today. This cold front, associated with a vigorous low pressure system south of the Bight, will cross Victoria late today into Tuesday. The low is expected to track through eastern Bass Strait on Tuesday and then over Tasmania Wednesday, bringing a series of troughs in the mid week before it clears into the Tasman Sea on Thursday.
