A ridge of high pressure over northern parts of the State will remain throughout the weekend as a couple of cold fronts pass well to the south in a broad westerly flow. The ridge will weaken and move over the Tasman Sea on Monday and a low pressure system and associated trough will approach from the west, moving to the north of the State on Tuesday.
